Kane Creek Farm lambs are lovingly raised, and naturally grown. Our meat lambs are primarily grass-fed (with only a little grain for training or a treat!). They live alongside their mothers, and our main flock, their entire lives; treated with respect and care. Lambs are generally born in March and are ready to fill your freezer in early December. These lambs are available as whole or half of lamb. They are butchered by a local company to minimize stress.
Buyer pays a $135 cut and wrap fee directly to the butcher, 4-Star Meats in Eugene OR, plus a per LB fee based on the hanging weight. Most lambs have a hanging weight of 45-55 LB. Our lamb is offered at $9/LB for a whole lamb share or $11/LB for half. a nonrefundable $100 deposit holds your lamb share.
Your lamb share is custom cut to your specifications. Not sure what to get? 4-Star is a very knowledgable butcher who is happy to make recommendations. Isabelle is also happy to answer any questions you may have, and share a few great recipes!
Lamb whole/half deposit
You should plan on utilizing 1 cubic foot of freezer space for your whole lamb.
